 In our reading group, our learning has focussed on New Zealand innovators and inventors.

I chose to learn about a jet pack because it is cool.

I found out that it was made in 1998 by gleen mariten.

Inventors and Innovators

In our reading group, our learning has focussed on innovators and inventors.

An innovator is a a person who introduces new methods, ideas, or products.

Kids can be inventors too. I found out that Benjamin Franklin invented swimming flippers (for hands) at age 11 and Louis Braille invented the braille system at age 15. 

I would like to invent a robot that does chores so that I don´t have to do my chores at home.

Baking biscuits

 

This week in Maths, we have been focussing on maths and capacity work shops and

Olympic challenges.

I really enjoyed making the biscuits with my friends and eating them the

best because they were yummy.

Something that was a bit tricky so they whereat to flat to put on the tray because if they where to

to small than they Wood burn.

I am really looking forward to really looking forward t making the biscutes and having

again and doing another maths capacity workshop they were fun.

My Holiday

 In my holiday I went hunting in the wild woods. We got a few pigs. We got some pigs that were all different sizes. I stuck two of them and my friend called Lochie age 19 he stuck one.

We went for a walk and checked how far the dogs were. My dog was a kilometre and  dad's dog was only 400metres. It was out chasing pigs. We could even see the pigs the pigs must have run miles. They finally got the pig. It took us about 5 minutes to get there.

We went to go and  stick the pig and then we went home.

kia ora this week we have heaps off cheaking i don´t got much to do my job was to in tive Mr pool ad  we have to get pohtos  of class.

we are doing 10 minutes and we are going to start with the first episode about 

Korea. first we had to take photos on i Pads.I think we are doing this so we get to watch TV. Ormond TV is about taking photos and making a TV show for the school to watch and so people can see the wonderful people and our school.

 

Mother's Day activities

 This is my poem about  my mum because Mothers Day was on Sunday. We had a sheet that we had to describe our mum eyes, legs or about the job she does. After we had done that we had to make a background and change our front for our writing.

On Friday we had all the mum's come into our classroom and we decorated a cupcake and made a cup of tea for them. We played games with them, like  Twister, Headbands and other silly games and fun games.

It was fun, I liked mum coming in.

What questions have you asked this week I asked If i could go to lunch because my staff was tidy.and if I cold help Mrs t with the gim stuf.

What is one thing that you have learned this week if you want to make two things and it's got an F at the end you always want to change it to V it makes more sense to me.

What was your favorite mistake this week  getting a math question wrong because even though I got it wrong mushrooms that it right but I didn't give up I gave it a go again and I got it right.

How can you make next week great on Friday I can help people if I finished all my work and then I can have some free time with them then I won't feel lonely.

Maui play

 The thing I liked was being the first brother a taking to Maui.

I didn't really like getting up on stage because i was a bit nervous going in front of every one.

And I really liked watching the other people do their place because they were good and I really like to call because he was a half Cook Hill from the North Island that hooked up.

we had to do a freeze Fame so whenever our teachers called freeze we would have to stop and she asked us if you questions we would have to answer them like how to do feel and who were you.

my group I had Brooke Jordan but he got replace with Liam and then lyric and then me Hunter.

Today I was learning how to record an interview with my buddy using Screencastify.

I found Screencastify I found screen cast of flying pretty easy because it was easy to interview and do all my reading and listen to and my body was pretty good at doing the questions at to me.

I enjoyed posting it because it was fun and it was pretty easy I just needed little bit of help by doing the text box

I found it tricky to to make a text box and put the coding in that was pretty hard cos it took me a little pine with my buddy because he didn't have his computer so he couldn't see the questions here to ask me so he was pretty smart and went and got a bit of paper and copy them off my Chromebook.

The most trickiest fig  is to right the righting about our learning.

easiest thing is to make your slide and do the HTML coding on to my blog commenting on other people's dogs and super easy.

But I think I need to start commentating a little more.

 today we will learning how to take care of our Chromebooks like a pet first we had to write down three facts to use to hold your Chromebook safely then we had to get a image of a Chromebook keyboard and put it on a question mark then we had to look on our Cyber smart page and see what.what kind of Link writing or something like that we can use to put a name at the bottom of it.

today we will learning to do a self-portrait when we have a self-portrait on our blog and it's a little like we do on our Google page.first we had to take a photo of our south then we had to design at with colors songs like our skin colour and our nose and Reza designer t-shirt that we were wearing to.

today we will learning how to thorck lift hold our Chromebooks so they can be safer .  we had to take a selfie of ourselves then put it on a slide and make in and choose and insert an image. a name is will come up with a few photos that we could make it with herself to pretend like where somewhere else did instead of boarding school.
